Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia is a model and an actress. In Australia it was her first time being famous due to her role as Pepper Steiger that she played in the soap opera Neighbors in a total of 100 episodes in the period 2006-2007. In Hollywood the actress began her career with two projects. One was Hollywood & Wine on which she played a struggling actress. Then she was offered a part in the role of Maya who was a hot and gorgeous medical student in Scrubs' ninth season. But, the show abruptly stopped. In the following months, she continued to film an episode of the Farrelly brothers ' comedy titled Good To Shoot that starred Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson tandem. Thereafter, the actress appeared in B-series and short movies. 2013 was the year she managed to take on more prestigious projects. She was on six of episodes in the show detective Franklin and Bash then landed her first regular role in the web-series Chosen played on by Milo Ventimiglia. In the series' first two episodes she provides the answer to Chad Michael Murray. She then played supporting roles in two feature films that are based on aircrafts. One of them was a TV movie for SyFy's Flight with actors from the television series. In the other, she is Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She's the flight attendant. She also appears on the trailer for a brand-new program on television called Matador which she co-stars with Gabriel Luna. This is a thriller that sees the actors portray CIA agents. The show is created by director Robert Rodriguez however does not surpass a full season of 13 episodes. She then continues to work on a pilot series but it doesn't work. She shared the poster for the B-series romantic comedy Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared in the role of Kad Cuoco and Kevin Hart's co-stars in Comedy Witness for Rent. The experimental Knight of Cups, directed by Terrence Malick was distributed widely. Also, she is featured in five episodes of the Satisfaction series.
