April Ross
April Ross, a beach volleyball star American She is one of a small category of females who have had medals won in several Olympics. Alix klineman, who is competing for the first time in Tokyo's Olympics, will try to earn her third medal. Ross is also hoping to win her very first Olympic medal. At 39, this could be Ross' last chance to win the Olympic gold. But she's confident top awards are within reach. Ross, via NBC Boston, said that when the team performs consistently or well it could be able to win gold. Then I will also take some luck. Ross was born in 1982 in Costa Mesa California where she resided with her parents and sister. Ross was a competitive athlete in a variety of sports while attending Newport Harbor High School. As a pre-schooler she played indoor volleyball along with basketball and running track. She was definitely the best player in indoor volleyball. In her high school volleyball career in her university profile, she played as a middle-blocker, outside-hitter and setter. Gatorade Circle of Champions named her the National Player 1999. The year 2000 was the time she won the Orange County Athlete of the year award for volleyball. Ross Klineman and Ross may be working on a project at the beginning of 2017, but Ross had already been a seasoned volleyball player before they teamed up. She has won numerous events, one of which was with the legendary player of volleyball. Between 2007 and 2013, she was partnered with Jennifer Kessy, who is currently her coach. Kessy's teammate Ross, who was the winner of the world championship alongside Kessy in 2009, also was an important player on the international stage. This duo went through to take home a silver medal in the 2012 Olympic Games at London. They were defeated for the gold by the legendary team comprised of Misty May-Treanor as well as Kerri Walsh (Jennings). Ross Jennings took over for May-Treanor after she announced her retirement. In 2016, the pair took bronze at the Rio Olympics for beach volleyball. Ross participated in the Trojans at USC during her the college years following her graduation from the high school she attended. It was a successful performance for Ross during her time at the university. In 2000 she was named Pac-10 Freshman and NCAA Freshman of the Year. She was also named an All-American. In 2000, her Trojans were also able to make it to the Final Four. The Trojans suffered a significant personal loss during her sophomore year, however, she was able to achieve the All-American distinction. Over the course of her two final years with the Trojans they helped win consecutive championships. The individual accomplishments of her have established her place as a legendary volleyball player. She was awarded the Honda Sports Award 2003-04 for the best female college player. Ross was an international relations major at USC. Unfortunately Ross mom Margie was not able to witness her daughter ascend to the top levels of beach volleyball fame. Ross lost her mother to breast cancer in 2001. Ross was then a sophomore. She is devoted to her parents who passed away. Margie has been an inspiration both in her personal life and at the beaches.
