Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her starring roles in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. She was born into an upper middle-class family located in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her mom was a film buff and encouraged a love of movies in her daughter too. Paula loved participating in school co-curricular activities and was particularly fond of drama. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates, and she participated in school stage performances. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actor decided that acting was her preferred career. She was enrolled in the University of Southern Calif's summer camp, and loved the experience to death. She was assigned a 3 month project to create documentary films for PBS. When she finished her three-month task successfully Her first assignment was working in the production department of television documentaries. Then she began producing documentaries. While she was awed by what she did but she was always wishing for acting roles. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a small part with Will Smith. She has appeared since in a variety of films and television series.
