Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had numerous talents, including being able perform, direct, produce, write plays, teach, and be Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of the British father and British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. When she was a kid, she made the rounds in various commercials. In November 1999, Anna made the move to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually making the move into Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged. The couple was married in a civil ceremony that December and renewed their vows in the form of a Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton in April 2011, following Anna's conversion to Judaism.
